Barely Beige Studio is an architectural and interior design studio founded on the belief that good design is not about one thing. It is about everything, how a home is planned, how it flows, how it functions, and how it feels to live in every day.

The studio was created in response to an industry that too often treats design as surface-level. Where architecture and interiors are disconnected. Where decisions are made late. Where homes are designed to photograph well, but not necessarily to live well. Barely Beige exists to challenge that model.

Our work begins with clarity and direction, not decoration. We believe the most successful homes are designed holistically, with architecture, interiors, and lifestyle considered as one continuous system. This requires early involvement, a clear vision, and the discipline to hold that vision from concept through execution.

This dual perspective allows us to create spaces that feel intuitive and expressive without being chaotic, and refined without feeling rigid. Every decision is connected. Every layer is intentional. Nothing exists in isolation.

Rather than working from a repeatable aesthetic or signature look, we design each home from the inside out. The result is a portfolio that is intentionally dimensional. Every project looks different, yet all share a common standard of clarity, cohesion, and livability.

We work alongside architects and builders from the earliest stages of a project, shaping floor plans, refining flow, and guiding decisions before walls are built. This early involvement eliminates ambiguity, reduces costly revisions, and allows homes to develop with purpose rather than correction.

Our role extends beyond selecting finishes or furnishings. We orchestrate the entire experience of the home, from architectural planning to the smallest details that impact daily life. Design is not just what you see, but what you touch, use, and rely on every day

Our Role

Barely Beige Studio acts as the design lead throughout each project. We hold the vision, guide decisions, and ensure every contributor is working toward a cohesive outcome.

Our role is to bring clarity where there is complexity, direction where there is uncertainty, and confidence where clients feel overwhelmed. We are intentionally hands-on, deeply involved, and committed to carrying the design through with integrity from start to finish.

Barely Beige Studio is building a practice designed for longevity. Our focus is not short-term trend relevance, but long-term design thinking, homes that will feel as considered in ten years as they do today.

As the studio grows, our work continues to expand into complex custom builds, large-scale renovations, and experience-driven residential and wellness spaces. The scale may evolve, but the standard remains the same.
