New Build

Modern Elegance

Project Overview

This ground-up build began without a clear design direction. The challenge was uncovering the client's true aesthetic and translating it into a cohesive architectural vision.

Defining Characteristics of the Lumen Project

01

Objective

A dramatic low-angle view of a modern spiral staircase with a glossy dark brown mahogany wooden handrail and steps, overlooking a bright white interior atrium.

Once alignment was established, the design became bold and highly detailed. The staircase and feature wall anchor the home architecturally. A custom front door serves as both a functional and sculptural element.

02

Finishing touches

A luxury living room featuring a dark stone fireplace with a built-in TV and fireplace below, flanked by tall navy blue built-in shelves with warm lighting. A large gold-framed crystal chandelier hangs from the ceiling, and the room is furnished with cream-colored sofas, a dark wood coffee table, and herringbone wood flooring.

Every finish was intentionally selected. Stone, tile, and wood were layered to create moments throughout the home. The powder bath features a goldfish patterned tile that introduces a playful yet elegant detail in a compact space.
