This full tear-down and ground-up build began with approved plans that did not support the way the homeowners truly wanted to live. Without altering structural walls, the layout was completely reworked to improve flow, function, and overall livability. What began as a beach cottage concept evolved into a Spanish Hacienda that honors the architectural history of San Clemente.

The focus was maximizing every inch of space while creating warmth and cohesion. Through strategic spatial planning and material selection, the home now feels intentional, layered, and inviting.

Spanish Roots
Spanish tile plays a defining role throughout the exterior. Tile frames doorways, arches, and stair risers leading to the front entrance, creating a rich architectural presence. The custom front archway and tile detailing immediately set the tone.

Tilework
The project features extensive Arto Tile selections and is now showcased on their website as a featured residential build.

Arches
If you see this home for five seconds, you notice the tile framed arches and the front facade. It is architectural, warm, and unmistakably rooted in place.
